Now if you're talking cheesecake, well there's a huge difference between home made crusts and the premade crusts there...
You better believe it. But I make my cheesecakes in a spring form pan anyway, so I wouldn't have an option for a premade crust...even if I wanted one (which I don't!). I took a cinnabon cheesecake up to my son at college this past weekend (one of his buddies found a recipe he thought would be good, and he asked me to make it). They stayed up until 4am eating it, and the other goodies I brought.

What you need to do, is make one of those cinnabon cheesecakes and bring it to me, and everything else you can make, then leave because it will be like an atomic bomb going off in that small area. Like the Tazmanian Devil ripping through the dishes getting to the soft tasty insides.

Not for this cheesecake. The crust was a cinnamon spice cookie/brown sugar/butter crust. And it was amazing.

Let's see....I took the cheesecake, a batch of chocolate chip cookies, a batch of white chocolate cranberry cookies (my new favorite - these were to DIE for!), chocolate mint cookies, pepperoni bread, buffalo chicken dip, salsa (with chips) and oh yea...4 Halloween treat bags filled with various candies.

I figure this will last about a week...maybe two.

My shirt was off when I read chocolate chip cookies. Everything else is a blur to me.
