Limits your options huh? There were giant turkey legs there as well.
Funny thing about this festival there is only one restuarant selected to cook for the festival and I saw only two tents where you could buy barbeque. It's not as if there are dozens of different vendors cooking pig for you to sample & compare to others.
Yeah, the south is a terrible place to have an allergy like this! lol
And being that I used to eat pork and beef, I know what I'm missing. Sometimes I get such a hankering for the stuff.
Ahhh, I didn't know that. When you hear "festival" you assume tents with different vendors. So was it crowded today? It was a nice day out but they were competing with the state fair too.

Too crowded, it was nearly impossible to browse craft vendors out of concern of knocking into someone or tripping over a damn stroller. I really don't like large crowds.

I hate crowds too. I get too frustrated trying to excuse my way through a mass of people.

I was getting to the point where I was having an overwhelming urge to push some of the people out of the way. I commented to my wife they must teach waddle in Davidson county schools. It baffles me how one person can take up 18 square feet of space while moving forward.
I cant recall meeting anyone that likes crowds. You don't notice it there but you become acclimated to them somewhat I think. I have no problem with them when I have been there for a few days but when I leave here the airport is very intimidating and a constant struggle. I alternate between wanting to run or to dig in and fight. It drives me crazy because its completely irrational.
Possibly, it's the only place I can crank the tunes..... I play it loud. I play it loud because the friggin neighbors get all pissy otherwise.
Besides... 42 ain't that old.
I ain't over til it's over.......
Oh that was the first thing I tested out in my car. I like it loud too...my husband had to replace my speakers on more than one occasion in my old car. He has already warned me he is NOT doing it in this car...LOL

I don't think it's all that irrational. If you aren't used to it, a mass of people can be overwhelming.
