Oh I love parsnips! I usually slice them up with carrots, toss them with a little honey and olive oil and roast them. So good! That's one of my "go-to" fall side dishes.

So I think I may go back to school

I registered today for an information session on the nursing program at one of the tech colleges in my area.

I have my BS in Elem. Ed with a minor in Human Development but I really, really do not want to go back into a classroom.

I'm kind of hoping some of my coursework transfers over so I only have to take the bio, chem and clinicals. I've got a ton of psych and development classes on my transcript...not to mention all the humanities, math and Eng. courses.

I haven't run this by my husband yet...not sure what he will think of it...guess we will see! I just have to get him when he's in a good mood...lol

Why? What the hell is going on again in "beautiful" PA...? Oh, I guess your Waggy A must be already gone...

Moderation in all things means to me at times you should take seconds, have another drink, so on. At least thats my interpretation and I'm sticking with it.

Sit tight and wait to see what professions become short handed because everyone is going into nursing. I would venture to guess before this decade is out the nursing profession will be glutted like so many other professions the pay for those starting out will be a fraction of what it used to be. Just my .02
