There's a difference between truly having emotions and faking them.

I think that a sociopath can enjoy a movie or be delighted when eating ice cream like the rest of society but they can't comprehend others having feelings and emotions.

Eating and entertained have nothing to do with emotions or empathy.

I agree that they lack empathy for others but they still have emotions...that was caused them to become a "sociopath"

I disagree.

Of course it does. I felt happy when the Rockets won the championship. I am sure that sociopaths can enjoy sports and be happy if their team wins.

There are certain kinds of foods that I am repulsed eating and feel disgust, which is tied to emotions. I'm sure that sociopaths have the capacity for that.

Empathy and emotions are different and somewhat connected.

Empathy is concern for others.

Emotions can range from anger or happiness which a sociopath has the capacity to feel.

Sociopaths just don't feel emotions for others.

You can have emotions without feeling emotions empathy for others.

Isn't that worry and not empathy?

Waka is right. Preference is not an emotion. A sociopath can prefer one place to another, or prefer one food to another. So can any organism with sensation.

Wrong. The general consensus is that "baby, they were born this way."

No one becomes a sociopath overnight. My mom is one. She never changed. She was the same way when I was a kid and is still the same way now. Manipulative, compulsive lying, no empathy or sympathy, no conscience. I'd hesitate to call those types human.

I question the sincerity.

It sounds like you have no empathy for your own mother! If she really does have these traits, her life is probably very difficult and she doesn't understand why.
