The coupledom with children and all its small inconveniences far outweigh the singledom, personally. I suppose I could never buy into the glorious single happiness mentality (and boy did I try) and was searching for "my half" regardless.

The small inconveniences of boisterous life when several people live together, are the size of a splinter in my book - the messes could be cleaned up, the needed quiet lone time found, - but having a person who understands you is priceless.

I'm not a restaurant person what I meant is that in response to that post I can cook one day and eat leftovers whereas some coupled ppl may cook everyday if their partner wants that or doesn't like leftovers. I really don't care to get bored eating leftovers...I eat mainly just to live .
