Because Chinese think it's bad luck. Too many things about placement of a house, which direction to face
For example,A lot of Chinese like to have their front door facing North.
If there is a Mountain, the front door should face the other way. This way the money will come in easier. I there is a mountain facing the front door then money will not come in. etc,too much to list. If you want to know more,I will tell you after Saturday,I am going up northern California for 4 days, leaving this morning.see you soon!

I am back,went to see my niece,they have a 2 months old baby,it's a long story,off topic anyway,it's posted somewhere else......

Creme, what do you want to know, not everyone follows it,but if your house sits on a t s street then it is not a good idea.
T means the - is the house facing a l street. Actually it is common sense,A car might run into a house, and at night the house will be have too much harsh lights coming from the cars that's coming towards the street.
