So if your husband took you to the Emergency Room and when you get there he sits in the car and waits for you refusing to even walk you in.

Our neighbors husband just did this tonight.. my wife would kill me.. what about you?

I think it would depend. If she has a chronic illness and is in/out of the ER on a regular basis, I can see waiting in the car. But, that wouldn't fly for a one time scare situation.

That's not acceptable, even if it is a regular occurence.

My mother does that to me because a hospital is full of sick people and she doesn't want to get sick.

My STBX did this to me a couple of years ago; he dropped me at the ER and WENT HOME to wait for me to call. I ended up with a diagnosis of pneumonia - he told me later he thought I was being a drama queen. Long story short: he was having an affair at the same time. Coincidence? I think not!

A little clarification.

She went in having severe pain the area of her Kidneys so it was not just a 'routine' visit.

He has cheated a few times.. including with her twin sister..

Ignores her and their kids constantly to play his XBOX

Yes.. his wife had surgery and he took time off work to 'care for her'.. well she still took care of their 3 kids under 3 years old all day while he played XBOX.

His actions make me look really good to my wife though

Likely shes had a hand in creating the type of husband he is, then they cry like martyrs. Happens all the time.
