Feminists wanted equal pay/career opportunity and not much further than those two. No sane woman would really want to adhere to the same standards as a men.
I lol'd when she actually did wait for the bus to arrive. Cruel
If men stopped treating women like women and started treating them as equals, this is what dates should look like.
Yeah and women have the chose to not ever ever go with someone who would treat them like this. I think my brother would beat up a friend that acts like that guy!
It would probably play out more like they take turns paying and whoever has a car picks the other one up, or whatever is most convenient is what they do. I mean even when hanging out with friends of the same sex, if one person has a car and the other doesn't, usually the person who drives picks up the person who can't. Splitting the bill is common in the beginning but many people go by the unspoken rule of "you pay this time, I'll get the next time" or "I'll buy dinner; you buy the movie tickets" etc. Gender equality doesn't mean people become automatically completely selfish and unwilling to do what is helpful or more convenient period.
Men and women are equals, but they are different. One gender is not superior to the other. That is the point that most people (men) seem to miss.
The guys that use this "equal treatment" crap ad nausem here in this forum, clearly don't have a grasp on what is meant by "equality". All us gals know that, so we just try and ignore them.
So she doesn't have a wallet or a car and and he interrupts? I have no idea what that has to do with men & women..
