I am not too trusting of those backup sites. I guess with DVRs and thumb drives, that is what I like to back up.
Yep, storage is so cheap now that it is hard for anything but free online storage to match costs. 5 bucks a month is 60 bucks a year and a person can get a drive now that stores quite a lot for that. More than most people ever will. I also back up a few key things to dvd as well so I have multiple backups of it. That need is small though and one dvd covers that for me. Do that once a month and I also regularly email myself some data that I can use to recover from catastrophe like a stolen laptop that has the basics like my expense spreadsheets and such and I can get on gmail anywhere and call up the emails and grab that data. Thats the main bene outside of the offsite nature of online storage, that the backup is available anywhere.
We really need to go food shopping. I'm starting to dig in order to come up with meals. I have some veggie meatballs, half an onion, and a ton of garlic (never run out of that), provolone, and some hot dog buns. So, I'm making us some meatball parm subs tonight with a bit of last night's pasta w/veg chicken on the side. No greens! I have peas, but he won't eat peas lol. Starch and cheese it is. Fortunately, I had sushi for lunch.
