Its kinda fun to inquire where people have met their significant other. Tell us your story. My first husband I met at work, he was my boss & asked to borrow some lunch money from me & said he would pay me back with a dinner date. My 2nd I met at a gas station, he asked if I was interested in going to an insprirational seminar, handed me the schedule of events & I went.
At the airport actually. I came to USA as a foreign exchange student, and his parents were my "host parents". When I arrived here, my now husband and his Dad were traveling...so the first time I met him was when they came back.People usually tease us since I technically married my "host brother". lol.
Same, although it took him a few tries before I actually responded. Based on his profile, I thought he was too short for me. (and to think he even fibbed about his height on his profile!)
In theory (how we first became aware of one another): While posting on a message board (not this one).
In practice (when we finally decided to meet face to face): In baggage claim at BWI, when we decided to meet for a date approximately 1,000 miles from where either of us lived. He had asked me if I wanted to be his date to his brother's wedding. I thought that was ballsy, and said sure.
I was from Queens...he was from Brooklyn...we met on Long Island(in a club)!
