well the girl came over and I didn't get to PLAY like I expected so it was a disappointment. She just wanted to talk and get to know me and watch TV after all the texts we sent each other about cuddling/kissing the past 5 days.

I took it as NO ATTRACTION but she stayed for 2 hours and called when she arrived home saying it was a pleasure meeting me and wants to talk today on the phone to set up another meeting.


So I say all this to say........."WASTED SATURDAY NIGHT"

Then she's dodged a bullet. Why a woman who only knew someone through a few days of texting would even agree to go alone to that person's apartment at night is totally beyond me but you know what they say about laying with swine. Anyway, I thought you were paying her - why didn't you ask for your money back if she didn't want to sit and cuddle with you and that was the deal you agreed upon.

I didn't have to pay because she found a free parking space so I didn't come out of my pockets. Now if I had paid for parking I would have been extremly pissed and would have kicked her out a lot sooner because if we were going to sit and talk we should have been at a cafe at 6pm not my bedroom at 11pm

Well of course that makes sense. She drove to your place late at night but was going to be paid by having her parking fee paid. Consider yourself lucky - given the current state of your finances and the possibility of being laid off next month, a date at a "café" would have cost you at least the price of a couple of cups of coffee.

I'm glad you didn't "come out of" your pockets. That might have been a little embarrassing.

Yes but the getting to know process is so irritating so I have lost interest in finding love as I gotten older.

Well you are what, 36? I will be 38 early in the month next month and I have had a marriage and started over by now.
