I met her in the elevator again today, this time she was with her mom who is visiting with her. I know her name now, and i feel comfortable to knock on her door.
I have made very tasty dessert yesterday, so i like to share some with them saying that I like to know what you and your mom will think of my baking skills
what do you think?
Do it bro. It's kind of different and it shows that you can be loose and not take yourself too seriously.
moonsavvy, blondiel et al asking the lad to bake stuff and take it to the girl & her mom are you guys serious? I mean, you wouldnt think its weird for some random neighbor you met in the elevator a few times to bring by a baked pie or something? Cuz as a guy, i think that is creepy. Even if it is done by a woman.

My point exactly. It's a bit too desperate in my view...
Maybe once he gets to know her outside being the "elevator guy", he could bring her a cake or w/e.
I put some of the dessert in a nice plate, I knocked on her door and she opened. I said that I made some dessert yesterday, and I like share it with you and your mom. she asked about the name of the dessert and ingredients. I answered her, hope that they will like it, and left.
I guess the ball now is in her court, so let's see how she will interpret my gesture and what will she do next?

oh lawd, i am embarassed for you What ball are you talking about ...just tell the girl you fancy her and would like to take her out sometime...instead of this silly moves you're putting together. You'll get a chance to be romantic later thats if she is into you.

lol, what is romantic about sharing something with a neighbor? I think it is ok for a neighbor to show a kind gesture toward someone who lives next door?
No, you did it to get one step closer to getting down her pants. Unless of course you bake for all your new neighbors.
If she goes out of her way to thank you for the dessert, that would be your cue to try and ask her out. Not saying she'll accept, but the longer you continue this role of nice guy/nice neighbor, the quicker you will seal your fate into the friend zone or just continue to drag your feet until it's too late and someone else gets to her first.

you are blowing this out of proportion ...
Do yourself a favor and read coolhands post above. Stop beating around the bush and get to the point (talk to her) already. Geez
