It won't deter players. They're going to pursue no matter what.

No...but I have been thinking about it. LOL
I have a ring I just never wear it as it catches on stuff all the time. I need to figure out a different type of setting to go with for a perm ring.

That's why I stated "some," not all.

I used to wear them when I went out to the clubs when I didn't want guys bothering me. To be honest, they'd still approach me and then ask about the ring. (I used to wear one of my late grandmother's diamond rings with a center stone.) Most didn't believe me when I told them I was engaged. I don't know if it was my age (late teens/early 20s) or the fact that I didn't have a solid story to back it up and I didn't believe it myself. I often found myself in even longer conversations trying to convince them I was spoken for. Sometimes I think it would have just been easier if I was to tell them "sorry, not interested."

I would imagine it might be different in a work environment though and that some guys may not even "go there" if they think you might be spoken for. It might cut down some of the come-ons.

You'll have to do a "study" and report back to us your findings!!!!
