-A professor I have had for 3 classes over 2 years has helped me both in and out of class
-She helped me in my school work a TON, always having patience with me when I didn't understand something, and spending time talking about the material with me
-Showed genuine concern/care/sympathy when I was going through some personal problems both this year and last year
-Letters of recc, references etc
-Basically my favorite educator ever; put up with a lot of my crap; I want to try and keep in touch with her after I graduate etc
Anyways, I have never given a prof/teacher a gift, but I'd like to do so to show my appreciation.
Any ideas? I am just thinking of a card and an Olive Garden gift card or some chit, but that isn't very thoughtful.
As an old hag who is going to hit 40 in a couple of years, LOL I would say a gift of a nubile, young male body would be the perfect present. But then I would get flamed...
