A well groomed man who is put together nicely isn't a "metro-sexual" at least not in my opinion. It's the types who go and gets the mani-pedi, who can't pass a mirror without checking himself out and primping.
The guy who has Christian Dior bookmarked in his browser, spends more time getting ready for a date then his GF.
A type of guy who puts fashion and his appearance at the very top of his priority list.
Metrosexual is a single guy with good income, someone who lives in the city, probably in a modern condo, owns a trendy sedan; clean cut, athletic, focus on physical appearance, knows the latest fashion and spends a lot of time and money on personal care and shopping for his appearance.
He probably prefer nouvelle cuisine and drinks wine instead of beer.
As an opposite to a caveman ( baggy shirt and shorts, flip-flops, hanging gut, beer can in the hand, unsophisticated "brute" ) I find metrosexual more attractive.
Yeah, that's just sad that a cool, smart, attractive, stylish, and cultured guy is so easily mistaken for a gay.
There is a happy medium, you know. A guy who is not metro isn't automatically a caveman.
I don't like guys who dress better than I do or who have more hair products and face lotions than I do. So, no, I've never been attracted to metro-sexuals.

LOL I don't even have any face lotions.
I use hand lotions sometimes though, because my hands are extremely dry.
