Well I just kind of told her I don't plan to hang out with her. I didn't really feel I owed her any type of explanation.

I doubt it. She's a grown woman and no one has to tell her that she was being rude and a flake. I suspect she knew how she was acting and she didn't care bc, well that's how she operates. She probably liked having him on the string and when he cut it she tells him that he is being mean.
