Of course it can be done. Standing in line at the checkout I notice the supermarket tabloids routinely torture celebrities by showing them without make up or in unflattering clothing.
Though regardless of clothes, some people just have a sexiness about them that I just can't put my finger on.
I find a woman who is clean, dressed appropriately, smart.....well read and capable of thinking critically, hold an intelligent conversation, warm, friendly, natural, and herself to be extraordinarily sexy. It has nothing whatsoever to do with makeup, nail polish, or body exposure (not that a little cleavage is EVER inappropriate). Brush your hair, brush your teeth, dress comfortably, and I'll hit on you all day.
FWIW, the babes in the magazines? Their only asset, to me, is their ability to look good as a naked body.......and that is often what I like looking at.....but for having lunch and staying till breakfast, I am not that interested unless she meets the original criteria above. They may very well be sexy, but as I will never meet them I will never know.
I think sexiness is more of an attitude than a look. I have a very curvy figure - however, I'm not sexy. I'm quirky and funny. When I try to act sexy - my husband laughs. I have some friends that are sexy - they have all different looks and body types - but their sexiness is in their attitude.
Our definition of sexy is so varied that I think this is a difficult question to answer. For me though, it's an "inner" quality that makes someone ultimately sexy and will make me want to stick around. It doesn't always jive with how they look on the outside but that's the intrigue of it!!
Sexiness is a switch..........some people can turn it on at will. What you wear does help and being clean and reasonably intelligent.....but it's an attitude. Some people GLOW, others - no matter how hard they
try don't.
I find men who are clean, got a sense of humour, and have a twinkle in their eye are pretty sexy!
