I hate staying put for more than a few years and the clock is ticking! It's difficult because he is very much a creature of habit. If I kept the same curtains on the windows for 20yrs it wouldn't bother him.
Really?! I hate it.

No, on the west or south west side....York near Lake Wylie (Tega Cay area) or somwhere around Lake Norman.

Well, that's a different story... I should've never left.

Just moving around drives me nuts, though. My last "fun" marriage included 4 moves without 8 or 9 months. Two of them were back and forth... I was embarrassed to see the movers... I was soooo sick of it, I didn't even feel like moving to my own house after that!

Back around 1997 the cost of real estate there was about the same as in Tucson and traffic wasn't very bad. Now housing is a lot more expensive and traffic is almost the same as in LA. If both of you can make good money, it's certainly a nice place, though, provided all Californian idiosyncrasies don't bother you.

We would most likely rent and my friend and I pretty much stay to ourselves...she has to do alot of entertaining her husbands clients...so in her down time she would just hang out with me!!
