It is hard to fathom anyone doing this who had not crossed lines of abuse in the past. Especially if the guy is doing it, as the general difference in strength, along with vulnerable areas of the face ..could easily lead to actual injury, at least temporarily.
Not sure why this really shocks anyone. There are all sorts of fetishes and kinks out there, and face slapping is probably one of the most vanilla in terms of what pushes some people's buttons. Think about it, there are people out there who are into torture, humiliation, toilet games, you name it, there's no telling what will turn some people on, and it's nothing new either. Been going on for a long time. Obviously this isn't something you start off with right out the gate. It's something asked for or discussed, or at least that's how it should go down.
But to answer the OP's question...yes, I dated a girl who wanted to get rough. Only problem was it wasn't discussed before hand. Long story short, she's straddled across my lap riding along, all is good, then...THUMP, she punches me right in the face. No warning, no easing into it, just plugged me right in the kisser. I pushed her off and asked WTF (try saying that with a busted lip...it was more like "blut tha puck"?!? She said she felt like changing things up a bit, wanted to try something different. That was just one of the many crazy things that would surface with this girl.
It shocks because it was presented as a general "trend."
By yet another new member with 2 posts and no sources or elaboration. Obviously it's not a trend. OP is either trying to induce overreaction or do a hit and run by starting a supermarket tabloid style title to grab attention and then never return to the thread to contribute further...also nothing new.

Sure. I wouldn't argue that.
