What are some examples of subjects that only couples talk to each other about? These would also be subjects that two people who are friends would be inappropriate or weird to talk about.
To start of the list:
How good a certain outfit looks on her
How cute some little quirk of hers is.
etc.
A nice long list would be great for those times when you two suddenly have nothing for the two of you to talk about.
All the mean stuff that goes on in my head, only DH knows how evil I am.
Finances, personal sex things.

I was in the store with my SO shortly after our son was born. He went up to the clerk and asked what aisle the diapers were in. As the clerk was leading us to the aisle, I whispered to him "He means ADULT." What fun when my SO was led to the Depends section!

That's a tough one, but those examples are not what I would choose. I don't think it is wrong for another man to comment on how good an outfit looks on a woman. or how cute her quirks are, if his intentions are pure. Her degree in Ornamental Horticulture could become a way into her pants if that is what he wants.
I do think sex and finances, in general, are not for public consumption. But many of us have friends we confide in about various things and I think we need them in our lives, beyond our romantic relationships. Whether they are male or female really doesn't matter to me.
