This was a funny thread.

But truly, who discusses living with someone when they are getting to know them? But I guess this was a hard limit with her, and she could have just boiled it down to how she wouldn't want a snake wherever she lived, not make it so pertinent to him...

Except for my snake. He doesn't bite though, just spits up.
+1 to each of you funny guys - out of reps for the day, but those were pretty good.

I asked her if she would rather me have a dog since dogs BARK and disturb everyone around them, they poop in the grass at the park, and they have fleas. She didn't seem to see the reasoning behind me asking this (Basic Mathematics seem to escape her) Anyway I've dated enough people in my life to know that relationships will come and go but my two snakes (A Ball and a Corn) will always be in my life. So if anyone wants her number you can have it b/c she's going to need someone new to date. BTW in case I didn't mention it, she doesn't like snakes.
A guy owning snakes as pets would have been a huge deal breaker for me when I was dating.

No way, no how.

Just sayin'....

I recall a fella in Albuquerque a number of years ago who raised rattlers for their venom. It was what helped pay for his way to a degree in anthropology. My only real problem with the situation in his garage......where he raised all the mice that he used to keep his snakes fed.

he was single as well..................go figure.

Just like the "I was dumped for dressing too sexy" thread, she realized that this wasn't going to workout long-term

And to the OP, what's dogs barking have to do with mathematics?
Dogs bark in binary, haven't you noticed?

I would have said, "Well, I guess you're not moving in with me anytime soon..." and then changed the subject.

She didn't want snakey. She wanted a puppy. Puppy's are cute. Except when they poop.

I wonder what she would have thought if he had a cat.

[maybe post a question about cats and the men who them on C-D]
