A woman who constantly eats crap (fatty foods, drive through, sodas, sweets, etc.) shows me that she does not share my interest or place such a high importance on health/fitness. Its like I wouldnt date a smoker either. Same thing.
I get what you are saying from a health standpoint. I would never have married a smoker either.

But I think what you are talking about is different than what the OP is talking about.

She seems to be discriminating for other reasons

Who cares what the reasons are - the bottom line is we all discriminate.

I am a vegetarian (Pescetarian to be more specific) and ALL the men I've dated ate meat. I don't have a problem with that. I respect their food choices as long as they respect mine, so I wouldn't consider food choice a deal breaker. Now, lifestyle IS a deal breaker for me. I eat very clean and I am very active, so I couldn't date a full time couch potato or garbage eater. I am all for indulging once in a while, chocolate cake is sooooo good , but someone who constantly eats junk food and rarely never exercises is a no-no.

But wouldn't you agree there's a big difference between discriminating against someone who is slowly killing themselves (and wants to drag you down with them) versus discriminating against someone who just doesn't care for lettuce like our OP??

The thing about the healthy eating or couch potato or even smoking...those all can change. I see examples of people adopting healthier lifestyles every day.

If someone on a date for instance, orders a med well burger with American cheese, no lettuce, onion or tomato, I know it won't work.

If someone won't do ethnic cuisines, like Thai, Indian, etc. on a date, then I know it won't work.

If someone's idea of a good meal is chicken fingers, then I know it won't work.

If someone says they point blank never eat vegetables, then I know it won't work.
I eat all of that.

[as for that burger - In-N-Out Burger: 3x3 LPK, 2 fries, a large Coke, and a chocolate shake, por favor!]

I would hesitate to guess this may be one of the reasons you're still single

It's all a matter of opinion and everybody is entitled to being alone or with substandard people because of his/her opinions.

But of course!

Would just hope our OP would prefer to find a fulfilling relationship rather than be alone
