I don't think its that hard if you go to the bar.. but if you meet up with a decent girl without any alcohol.. then i think it is less common
Burgler brings up a good point. In many cultures, people tend to be more reserved and the only way to get through to these people and get them to open up to you is to get them drunk.
This is why I like women (and people in general) from tropical climates because little to no alcohol is needed to get them to open up to you.
You are exaggerating big time, unless this is a 20 something lifestyle with men in NJ that I know nothing about.
Or does that observation come from reading craigslist ads?
I don't see this at all nor do I know anyone who does this. What you are describing sounds like a sport. Probably a tiny percentage of men do this. It is not the norm.
Maybe you should explore going out with older men, or hanging out with more mature people because it is not like that in real life. If I'm wrong I'd love to hear others chime in on this.
Even when I was younger I never knew anyone that did that.
You haven't been spending much time on C-D Relationships. By reading posts here, you'd think Doll Eyes' description is the norm for many of the guys here. It's refreshing to see someone posting about reality instead of fantasy for a change.
Finding someone you'd actually date beyond that just sex? Very difficult.

I get out quite a bit and I do talk with women sometimes. The youngest I will flirt with will be in her 30s. I never get signals like that.
I won't do craigslist, etc and I gave up on internet dating. I read 100s of profiles on OKC and I only saw maybe 2 that hinted they were just looking for sex.
I probably already brought this up but I do not go out to pickup bars. When I go out it is to see live music.
Women can find NSA sex much easier than men, but almost anyone can find it IF they lower their standards of attraction far enough! I've had plenty of propositions, but very, very few that I'd WANT to accept!
Same here, and I never see guys talking to women on these occasions. Do you talk to women when you go out?
Not always but most of the time I do. It depends on the opportunity and seating arrangement, if it's general admission or not.
I like small venues and there are several of them in the DC area. Most of the places I go to have seats but some do not.
