So anytime I am out and about I see gorgeous women. Today I was in a department store, and saw a GORGEOUS cougar. I noticed there was no ring on her finger, so I decided to go up to her.
"Excuse me, miss? I couldn't help but notice that you are absolutely stunning, and I would be kicking myself if I didn't at least come over and introduce myself."
*Stares at me* (At this point, I'm crapping my pants, but just as i'm about to walk away, she smiles and says, "Seriously? "
"Yeah, seriously. Im Mark" She shakes my hand and tells me her name.
"Hey, Im about to head out, would you like to get a drink sometime?"
"No thank you, but I really appreciate the offer"
"Okay, have a nice day"
As I was driving away, I realized I probably should have said something about what she was buying or something, to build up rapport. Otherwise, how did I do?
Not much you can do there, but hey keep going for it and one will certainly say yes. Although, what you could maybe try doing is maybe finding something about her to catch your eye and bring that up. Will help a little bit with a conversation starter.
Basically this is just something where you gotta ask a ton of girls before one says yes, nothing to do with you, but just kind of how this approach works.
Believe it or not, there are mature women out there who are not interested in dating a much younger guy, or indeed, some random stranger who approaches her in a public place when she is minding her own business.
And here's a question: it is accurate to call a woman a cougar simply because of her age? I thought there had to be some expectation of her sleeping with younger men in order to acquire that flattering little label.

Show a little respect, kid.
Is this a joke?
1) Im sure many women whho don't want to date me, for whatever reason. Doesn't mean I can't approach them poleitly.
2) With the word cougar, I just meant an attractive older woman. Show some respect? To whom? To her? I did.
In my opinion you shouldn't have stated how beautiful you thought she was, it gives off the vibe you are looking to score.
I was thinking that. Do you have another opener suggestion?
