I've recently moved to South suburbs of Chicago and I want to date with the possibility of a relationship in the future. I want to date men closer to my age but I don't know where to go. When I go out, I tend to meet young men and I am not tiring to be a cougar. Nor do I want to be a sugerbaby sooo what should I do? Oh I am 41.
Do you have any hobbies? Maybe join a group that pertains to a hobby of yours and also has male members in your age group. You live near Chicago. There must be plenty of such groups.

You're headed to the wrong places. Those "clubs" you are a senior citizen if you are much over 25. I'd look into going to more of a "pub"...bar or tavern type place. The young ones can't stand the tunes and the atmosphere in those kinds of places. "What, you mean there is a live band that actually plays their own instruments and not a MC?"
I got a message from a 37 year old woman. I respectfully cited her age difference of 5+ and did so in the most polite way possible.
She just went ballistic on me and gave me the age is just a number rant. Then after a couple weeks, she sent another message saying, hey guess what, I found someone younger than you. Well, if that's her way of seeking revenge and making sure I know about it, I feel sorry for her.
That is typical cougar behaviour. I mean, is there a scarcity of men in the late 30s range? There's a ton of desperate dudes in that age range. Yet, they always fish for the younger guys.
While talking, she also mentioned she loved that fact that younger men don't carry baggage, whatever the hell that means.

"fact that younger men don't carry baggage, whatever the hell that means" I hear you on that. Sounds like a drama queen. 37 is probably my ideal at 3 years younger than me, but I usually go down 10 and up 5+ as a loose guideline. I think when I was in my 20s I believed an older woman was a couger but once past 30 I realized age was not the factor it used to be in determining who I see.
