You're right. Most women in their 40's don't hang out. They have lives, careers, families, and responsibilities. I see them at yoga, the farmers market, the health food store, art openings, the coffee shop, movies, garden centers, and music festivals.
Cwaggy was right about the computer, I think a lot of women are very comfortable with themselves and like to relax at home. They have friends over for dinner rather than going to clubs. Most of them have been there done that and have moved on to different challenges rather than obsessing over the next hookup.
