To me this is where quality vs quantity comes in.
Plenty of options doesn't mean all or most are good options or good for her options.
Plus there's the logic flaw of the amount of options tends to depend on what woman and what guy. From my experiences/observations:
Ugly guys tend to have more options than ugly gals. *for quality not quantity*
Attractive guys tend to have more options than average/ugly gals.
Attractive/average/ugly guys in 30s and above tend to have more options than attractive/average/ugly gals in their 30s and above.
