There is this gal at work whom I have great conversations with. We pretty much burn holes through each other with our eyes and could chat for hours. Most of it's been pretty casual and no major flirting has gone on. Except whenever we go out with co-workers and she gets a little tipsy. She seems to be more flirty and says stuff like "tell whatever gf you have that I'm stealing you away", "sexy", "wanna get that shirt off of ya". that type of stuff.

One day out of the blue she calls me up and we chat for two hours about stuff but the whole time I got the impression that she was a little drunk.

I don't get it. We get along really great at work and there is this obvious tension (the good kind) between us. But she seems to only get obviously flirty when she is drunk around me.

Is she throwing me major signals here? Should I just confront her about it when she is sober? I just get afraid that she might be like "what are you talking about"?

Alcohol lowers people's inhibitions, they have less boundaries when under the influence.

Definately a red flag. Although the post is about a woman, it would be for either gender.

theres a term young people use called 'flagging down the d***" and that's what it looks like she's doing. who cares if she's an alcoholic you're not trying to marry her. swing for the fences champ

what in the hell does that mean? I am young but I haven't the slightest clue what "flagging down the dick" means. Explain.

And why is she all of a sudden an alcoholic? I figured she was reluctant to tell me she likes me sober, and seems to get more bold when drunk or tipsy.

Does she seem to get drunk a lot? Some one who needs alcohol more than once a week could be a potential issue later on in her life. It just seems...to easy.

A red flag could mean she has done that before to other guys. While under the influence, you never know what she'll do.
