ha! yes, they sure do. Then you look at their pics on top of a hill or maybe standing on a trail with a water bottle, but they have this beer belly and super white, pasty skin. Um...yeah dude, I say "athletic" is a stretch. And please...no pics of you guys in speedos, ok.

If I were doing online dating - I would describe myself as curvy. I have an hourglass figure. How else would I describe myself? And no - I'm not fat. I usually wear a size 4 although right now I'm a 6 or so - still trying to lose those last few pounds of baby weight and wondering if I'll ever see my abs again!

So I guess curvy can mean thin to average but with an hourglass shape or it can mean someone obviously overweight. Just depends on the woman!

I am 5'6" and weigh 115-120. When I was on the dating sites, I would describe myself as thin or slender. I don't think I'm that thin, I really think I am average.

But the gals putting down "average" weighed close to 200 pounds (and usually shorter then me). So compared to that, I am thin -- ha ha ha. It's all such BS, no matter how you look at it, and so not worth it

Didn't think of that at the time really , but yeah, it will get in the way of that, too.

Could raise some women’s self-esteem to make herself believe she is not fat by creating those profiles. They just have to be ready for the guy’s reaction after they see they were misled.

The mom on this video put "Curvy" on her online dating profile:

Britney Spears - Till The World Ends (Toddlers and Tiaras Remix) - YouTube

Im still really upset with her for freezing Han Solo in carbonite though.

I hope they find her nest and destroy it before she hatches more eggs.

Check out mybodygallery.com

While the body type icons are sometimes inaccurate (calling the same person an Apple AND a Pear, which is impossible), you can see a few things:

You can be thin and curvy
You can be fat and curvy
You can be thin and have no curves
You can be fat and have no curves

And everything in between!!

I've butt heads with people on this many times. When I read average, I read average size and the average size is 12/14.

Some argue that average means, in online dating, that you are neither thin nor large. To me, there should be something that reads "somewhere in between".

At 5'6 and 115-120, I don't think you are average. I think you are slim.

Depends on where you are from I guess. Here in Los Angeles, 5'6" and 115-120 IS average. In Oklahoma or Arkansas, it probably means sickly and/or anorexic.

And really, size 12/14 is average? No way. Well maybe in Oklahoma or Arkansas it is (or maybe even considered "thin") but no way can you say its average.

EDIT: I have to add, I am a guy and every woman I have ever dated were P, S, XS, or at the largest a size 5. So I am going by my own real life experience. Comparing the size 5 chicks Ive dated to what someone who is a size 12-14 is seems like an awful lot.
