What are your deal breakers & non-deal breakers from the categories and why?
Deal Breakers
- Drug usage of any kind ( I am not 420 friendly)
- Excessive consumption of alcohol
- lazy
- No job
- no emotional competence
-little to no communication skills
- Not aware of what is occurring in the world
- Narrow minded
- Previous cheater
- done any jail time, arrested, misdemeanors, felonies and so forth
-doesn’t like children ( since I have one)
- egocentric

LOL! The OP forgot Integrity and Ethics! No wonder so many people here complain about marrying cheating spouses! Integrity isn't even on their radar!
Integrity and ethics would fall under the MENTALLY category. I didn't need to list every trait because they will fall in 1 of the 3 categories listed and I provided examples for those who need a reference. Posters are open to go as indept as they like...some will get it, some won't
So what are your negotiables & non-negotiables?

Brain power, heart power (this would include: humanitarian values), integrity, communication, imagination, emotional and economic stability (has dealt with baggage, if any), loyalty, humor, wisdom, good health.
We obviously learn more about ourselves and our preferences in partners once we actually begin a relationship and throughout the durations of those relationships. However, from a strictly DATING perspective...
I am absolutely through with women who have children already. Been down this road about 4 times, all lasting between 1 to 10 months. I wont generalize, because I'm sure there are wonderful young women who have kids, but it just doesnt matter to me anymore. It isnt worth it...
Integrity is a must, as is ambition AND passion. Not saying you have to strive to be "all-world", so to speak, but they go hand in hand. How can you be passionate with no ambition? She has to have a job, but even more importantly is her drive--back to ambition. Her morals and ethics have to be similar to my own...
