Even if they have lied, cheated, BS'd through their whole life without retaliation, I still think they "got theirs". You know why? They lived a lie. They have never truly loved, and thus they have missed out on one of the best things in life.
To me, an unfulfilled life is the ultimate revenge.
I know - but when you do that - then they are essentially "winning." If you get my drift. Don't let others hold that kind of power of you. It's hard - but it's one of the keys to happiness.
A lot of times when we're mistreated in relationships our friends/family will comfort us by saying "They'll get theirs." But has anyone really seen this be the case with someone who has cheated, lied, BSed their way through their relationship? If that person's no longer in your life, you don't exactly get a front row seat to witness karma paying them a visit. So, how do you know that karma shows up?

How do you know? The laws of nature. Dishonesty isn't limited to their relationships.
They have an excess of bad karma, so, it'll take some time for it to catch up.
