When the kids all went off to school, my Mom went to work and helped boost the family's cash flow. She worked and was still traditional. So did most of my friends' Moms in similar socioeconomic strata.
Haven't you pointed out on this forum that you do not respect your mother?
I'm saying that most men know about cars, would be interested in some type of sport, and study practical subjects. Which cars, sports, and subjects interest them may differ.
HAHAHA
Most men DO NOT know about cars. They pretend to know something about them because they're 'supposed' to, but in reality most men don't even know how to pop the hood on their own car.
I don't quite understand 'practical subjects' though... what is practical to one may not be practical to another. I think knowing about how aircraft work is very practical, but most people know absolutely nothing beyond the Bernoulli Effect, if they even know that much.
I don't know what this means. You really need to define "traditional". You're waffling all over the place.
Didn't I explain it already? He doesn't do any of the things a traditional man does; she does all the things the traditional women do + working for a living. It's pretty simple really.

OK, ladies and germs, we at least have a definition of the "traditional" male. Robert's jury is still out on the "traditional" female: does she work? Does she stay home? Does she give Tiger Woods BJ's? We're still waiting for clarification--stay tuned .
The traditional male likes sports (I assume you mean organized sports), cars, tinkering with cars, and studies "practical" subjects. Practical subjects like plumbing and electrical, or like finance and investing? Or are the latter two too brainy for the traditional male? Just trying to clarify.
So the traditional male isn't an intellectual, I think we've established that much.
