Naw, as a rescue foster mom you're forgiven. I actually wish more people realized the amount of time, effort, patience and chewed up stuff they end up with before they get a puppy.

Our "puppy" is almost 2 and while he's a really good doggie, he creates a lot of dirt. It's mostly the dog hair but when it rains, ugggh!!! I just hate rainy days.

We have 2 cats as well but we don't to fuss over them so much. My husband said when all these pets are gone, NO MORE!

I'd still like a cat or two, but I'm not thinking I'll ever own another dog.

Understandable. I had a puppy when I was young. She was more trouble than me or mom wanted to deal with thankfully she left with mom's ex-husband upon divorce.

The pet I would want would be either fish or snakes. You have not lived until you have had a 2-3 ft snake wrap themself around your arm.

I think it may just be that anonymity of the Internet, but I find that forums in general seem to have a highly disproportional amount of sociopaths and anti-social personality types.

Most people don't realize that sociopaths come in varying levels, they're not all raging killer types.... there is a fascinating book called "The Sociopath Next Door."

Gives great insight into those certain personalities that just do little shyt to get under your skin.

The Sociopath Next Door: Summary and book reviews of The Sociopath Next Door by Martha Stout.
