[quote=sourapplesweet;24126757I'm not 30 yet so I wouldn't know if women in their 30s have a hard time dating or not.[/quote]

I never did. I wanted children so I was always looking at the 19-25 crowd. The 30s is too old to be having children. The other thing was that women in their 30s tend to come with way too many hang ups and way too much baggage and it just doesn't fit on the back of my bike.

Young, fresh and exciting...

Keep on trying bignutz, Ive been shot down a lot in my time, especially when I was younger. Anymore when I go out, I go out to socialize and have fun, but purely for the social aspect and not picking anyone up: I go out to have fun and to engage in interesting dialogue-Politics, Sex, Religion, Music, even work! If I meet someone, great, if I don't, which is typical, great. At the end of the night I ask myself "did I have fun" 80+% of the time I can respond "Yes"

haha, I was posting someone else's experience but I appreciate the words of encourage and tips. My wedding band usually works to let others know that I am no longer in pick up mode.

Exactly! That's why I don't upload pics - I just can't overwhelm ya all and send ya to ER!

The 30s are not too old to be having children what planet are you on? Women today are doing right left and center. My grandma had her last child at 40 and my mum had me at 30, I was her first child.

Well my experience has been the opposite.

When I was in my twenties (the ones where I wasnt married)I dated people about the same age. When I was in my 30s I tended to men date between 5-8 years younger. Almost 40 and my bf is one year older than me.

I'm in my 30s and certainly willing to date women in their 30s.

Thing is, there are preferences and there are dealbreakers. I prefer to date someone a few years younger up to my age, but certainly wouldn't turn someone down who is a few years older.

A dealbreaker is people who don't dress their age. At a bar the other night and too many older women trying to dress like younger women. Kinda like when grown men wear a baseball cap backwards, or worse, sideways. But seriously, that is a turnoff to me, when older women try to dress/act like younger women. I say let's all age gracefully.

30s is too old to be having children? Since when? I have two already but am considering one more. I'm 31. If I'm too old, I wish someone would clue in my uterus so I can quit these cycles.
