I'm single and never had children. The thought of having children never crossed my mind. I was never interested.

I voted "no problem" but if it came with drama it would be a problem. Maybe I should have voted "mixed" instead. I'm a drama-free zone and intend to stay that way.

I am surprised too. Mostly because the mother usually gets custody of the children so the father wouldn't be burdened with the main responsibility of caring for the children day to day.

Perhaps a lot of the women that responded are in their 20s.

In reality, it is MUCH easier for dads to re-enter the dating game than mothers.

Yea ... no women here said they would date a single father, but tons of deadbeat dads get women all the time.

Meanwhile, there's good women taking care of kids that guys won't touch.

I look at some one with kids as having more depth and life experence. Its a desireable quality. Unfortunately if she has a misbehaving child it can more than offset the added maturity

No, its just far less complicated to start a family of my own. I'm surprised no one has resorted to the tired ol "It takes a real man/woman to raise another person's child" Good job!

If she's never been married, no way. Especially if there's more than one. As for widows, the child would have to be super charming, sweet, and well behaved.

Yeah, totally NOT the same....

I would definitely consider it, I think it really depends on the person. I just dated a girl recently, who has a 3 yo kid, and the kid wouldnt be a problem at all, but turns out mom dates 3 different dudes a week and introduces each and every one of them to her little girl. This tells me all I need to know that im not interested in dating this woman. Obviously its not because she's a single mom, but because her behavior shows how incredibly irresponsible she is in that regard. She is smoking hot btw, but definitely not a relationship material.
