If you used a bailsmen then you should DEFINITELY have got the money. Those bailsmen do not contact you to give the money back, you have to contact them. That's a pretty shady trade imo, and they're not there to help you out. Contact (and demand the money) the bailsmen who you used, they are supposed to give you the money.

1st part. It would be highly dependant on the crime. If it's for something that could happen to anyone like getting picked up for bar or street fight with another guy or DUI, I think most women would say that is something that was a bad case of judgement and not something indicative of his character. If it is for something awful like murder or sexual misconduct with a child, I would suggest the women bounce.
There are a lot of reasons why a person can go to jail. It would depend on what he did as to if I would stick by him. I would never get involved with a prison inmate.

My response is going to be biased due to the fact that my father is a Capt. At a mens correctional facility and has seen it all s well as personal exp. Through a friend.
My father in his 25 years exp has stated over and over that inmates are con artists, they know who to prey upon and who to target,
For years during my teen years I thought he was all about “scare tactics” until I finally saw his theory in action.
Back in 2007 I received a call from my dad asking, no demanding to know what my childhood friend ( one of my best friends still) was doing visiting an inmate on a sunny Sunday afternoon ? I called my friend and she stated she was there with another mutual friend visiting an old hs buddy of ours however she was introduced to another buddy of his through word of mouth (his) this guy was a “good guy” I mean this friend only had auto theft and intent to kill but it was not his fault. He needed a pen pal. So my friend began pen paling this guy. This guy gave her this song and dance and stated he stoole a neighbors car to go and kill a guy who molested his daughter ( A lie)
This guy had many attached charges ( Affiliation with the Aryan brotherhood, drug smuggling, meth addiction as well as i8llegal tats) she continued to see him even after he had been sent to another prison ( for affiliations) This guy sent her a letter every day and then slowly started making demands as my father forewarned!
Started asking for more stamps and papers ( he gave some to friends) Umm no..he sold them for cigs or drugs. He gained her trust, told her he loved her and did not care what she looked like ( My friend, I love her to death but weighs over 330 lbs) and stands 5’0

every time she visits and they have private visits he gets to have sex and for her to pay for all the food and goodies?
Prior to his release I tell her HE cannot know where I live..she brings him there anyways.
He ends up not looking for a job upon his release yet his demands do not stop..he needs to have every RAIDER thing out there? She pays for the everything just as she has been except now he is there as well to support?
He finds 2 underage girls next door and starts drinking and doing drugs with as my friend busts her ass as a teacher to support him
He is getting texts from these underage girls to come over and party at 2 am and she sees it
He is leaving her daughter unattended at home to go and party and tells her that she needs to be good and not tell? He is watching porn and mixes his porn with her Barbie dvd’s that’s how my friend found out.
He is stealing from her.
He finally gets caught by his parole officer and still is on the run and breaks into her house and steals from her? She turns him in and he gets shipped off back to his county and into a detox?
Which I set up? She is going to see him and trying to work it out? He awols and keeps his cell? And then my friend has girls calling her telling her they are sleeping with her huisband? She cuts off the service..he gets caught for meth..he is in jail..he calls her and tells her he loves her and the girls meant nothing and to send him money? She does not fall for it. He robs his 68 year old mother dry. All the meanwhile my friend is in court for settling all debt he incurred.. Since they were married..She is 19, 000.00 in the hole. She is still paying on it and the last time he contacted her was a year ago for her sons graduation asking her to forgive him and send him money?
A disaster..I would never deal with a coj let alone stay with a man whom committed a crime so BAD he did jail time let alone PRISON time.. My daddy taught me better!
Never.ever.have I.....stuck by a man who was jailed. dated I man who has a jail history. thought twice of dating a man with a rap sheet. Plain and simple.

Herein lies the heart of the matter. The women who seek out guys already in prison, have low self esteem, are desperate, and feel they can't get a man but they badly want one. Some women have to have a man. Women who are smart and attractive have their pick of men and would never resort to pursuing prison relationships.

If he is an honest guy with decent prospects, he's likely harboring a deep dark secret - like he's had plastic surgery to make him look half presentable.
A good looking con (and these are the type that attract interest) is misunderstood by society and was likely framed, or did a crime to help someone out. All he needs is a good woman by his side. The previous 30 or so, were not up to the job!
