Does anyone else out there experience this dating blackout? Just a block of time when there is no interest or notice from the opposite sex? I wonder what provokes it. It's not like suddenly I changed my appearance or personality to that of an ogre! I haven't found any way out of this either, it just kinda has to work itself out. <sigh>
i noticed this as well with myself. last spring / summer i met some really great girls, dated, romanced, etc.... fast forward a year later and nothing. haven't been on a "date" since last august. this is definitely the longest cooling off period i've ever experienced dating / relationship wise.
ya me too on online dating site. especially when i lived in vegas for awhile. NOT 1 SINGLE MESSAGE. and when i went back in IL, dating life is active again. but i did experienced dry spell even when im in IL too. it really made think what the hell happened i have not change/updated my profile ever though even with dry spells.
it's actually very very curious why it happens.

I haven't been on a date in a LONG time not sure if it's out of choice or just not ready. I had a women a couple weeks of go in a resturant give me the ( come join me look) for some reason I went and sit at another table. I tend to go all in or nothing would be nice to just date for a while I guess... maybe. For some reason it's feast or famine... more famine for the most part.
