They are cool but some guys get too obsessed with them and spend too much money for them. Get real women or go to a massage parlor.

I don't go to strip clubs. My DH does not go to strip clubs.

That said, when I was younger I was friends with mostly guys and I think we went to the strip joint for every single one of their 18th birthdays (there is a strip club with a juice bar not too far away). I kind of fell dirty when I think about it, just because the person I was then is nowhere near the person I am now. I have NEVER taken any clothes off for money and I never will. I would rather starve..

I do have a close friend who strips though. Things didn't go so well for her, but I don't think all strippers get stuck with the life she has now, many of them do, but some of them don't.

Being someone who had been to the strip joint a few times though, I can tell you that a big factor in my dating someone was that they did not like strip clubs and that it wouldn't be a factor in our marriage, because I know what truly goes on at strip clubs and it is not a place I would ever be comfortable with my husband being at.

I don't care about strip clubs, one way or another. My SO does not frequent them. Actually, he does not EVER go. But, one of my best friends goes sometimes with her BF, but they only go together. For whatever reason, they get a kick out of it after a couple of cocktails. In fact, he once paid a girl to give her a lapdance. Hey, to each their own.

You're full of it. If there is a problem with any business, the police should be called. This just seems like a way of pushing it into the neighborhoods of "those people", a code word for the typical racist crap we've seen with 40 years of primarily Republican misrule, enabled by pandering to this sort of voter.

BTW, I'd like to see churches zoned out of my neighborhood. Attracts scads of tax supported, hypocrites who often fill all the parking spaces and support dysfunctional government initiatives, that only serve their interests. I wouldn't want my kids to see that!

Very true and they also have a tremendous fear of the unknown.

However, a majority of them love violence. The people in this sector don't need strip clubs. They get it off without any sexual input.

This is the opposite of almost all other advanced countries. Many of the world's problems can be directly attributed to this puritanical/violent streak in Americans. The majority of most people in other countries would love to get rid of all the stupid laws, supported by religious imbeciles, but the US would make things difficult for any country that tried to do this.

This is by far the most intelligent quote on this thread, I couldn't agree more.
Unfortunately, then you go on to link strip clubs with addiction when in fact the link is not there. If the strip clubs didn't exist, these addicts would only turn to prostitution or robbing banks. Its an easy living in many ways and therefore its not surprising that addicts are attracted to such jobs. However, the strip clubs didn't create the addicts and certainly not all strippers are addicts!

I'm hardly a supporter or regular of strip clubs but I find the religious and so called morality arguments quite tiresome. The country is in a hell of a mess because these imbeciles thought that they could elect honest and competent politicians and instead we got corrupt, incompetent right wing scum. Time for the prudes and those completely unfamiliar with the ways of the world to climb back in their hole before they do any more damage.
