It looks like, when I do get married, I'll be in my 40's and she'll probably be in her early 30's.

Any first time married folks after 40 on CD?

Are you dating someone now?

Or is that your desired scenario, to marry someone in that target age group?

No, not at the moment, I am not seriously involved.

I am asking because I am 38. Probably will not get married until early 40's.

well, I was close to that. I was 38 when I got married. ( I'm a woman)
But, we had been together for 5 years.
I would think that you could meet the right person and have things move along very quickly at that age.
Good luck to you!

My stepmom married my dad when she was 39, and it was her first marriage. She can do way better than him, though.

I was. We dated for about a year and a half before. It was his second marriage. We're doing surprisingly well, considering how independent we both were.
