DE, coming from you, I have to take this seriously. Maybe it depends on what part of the country we're talking about. I've never seen this on the West Coast. But...whatever.
Yes it definitely depends on where you live. Where I live this type of pairing is quite common. If I had to put a percentage on it I would say 75% of BM/WW couples fit the stereotype.

I'll admit that I'm a fan of watermelon too and I'll occasionally eat fried chicken, but because of the stereotypes, I only eat them in situations where I feel I won't be judged. LOL
LOL! It's funny that you say that because Talk show host Wendy Williams would always joke that when she she is out in public at parties and gatherings, she wouldn't eat too much fried chicken because of that stereotype.
I don't care for watermelon at all, and fried chicken is ok. I'd rather have chicken grilled, rotisserie, stewed etc.
Is that the stereotype? I had no idea. The few black guys who live in my town (in a region called Galicia, Spain, so that may be different), I've seen them dating thin or regular-sized girls, and mostly white girls but I suppose it's only because (again) we have very few black individuals here.
Galicia, huh? Falando en galego, eu gusto das nenas grandes........
AW Hell -- this 2012 thing iz fo' REALZ, it seems! $#!+ comin' apart, world turnin' upside down...
