I have a scone recipe in mind, but I can't have just one recipe, as my taste buds are always questing for delicious experiences. So I'd be all for the recipe.

Just not a vegetarian one. Because then I'd have to go find one with steak in it. LOL
Well, there's eggs, butter and sour cream in it...so I guess it's not a veggie recipe. You CAN add bacon and cheese if you want...just would have to decrease the sugar.

I've been making this recipe for YEARS and I am always asked for the recipe. They are THAT good!

Grandma Johnson's Scones Recipe - Allrecipes.com

I omit the raisins though (don't really care for them) and add a bag of nestle's chocolate chunks. I've tossed all kinds of things into the recipe...craisins and white chips are good. And if you have some coarse sugar...toss it on the top before baking and you'll get a nice, sugary crunchy coating. YUM!

Don't overwork the dough otherwise they will taste like bricks.

What do you mean chocolate chunks? Is this in stores? Is that different than chocolate chips?

Chocolate Chunks

I always use these in place of chocolate chips. Chips are for chumps...chunks are for winners! lol

Sounds like something you would find on the menu at a cheezy tourist restaurant.
