That is a well developed Hurricane. looks like I'm going to see some of that storm later this week too with the trajectory moving up towards my state lol.
Hurricanes... Exciting at first, always ends in disaster.
I've only been in one hurricane and one tornado in my life. The hurricane was the "coolest thing ever" because we were kids and it was like one big freakin' camping trip after all was said and done. School was cancelled and we didn't have power for 10 days which meant we cooked everything on the grill outside.
The tornados were spring of 2011 and they scared the crappola out of me.

I've only had to head to the basement a couple of times for a tornado. Normally it is a go outside and see what I can see.

Back when I was living in Florida we had a huge hurricane headed our way. It was the size of Texas. I called my step-dick up and asked him for a ride to Georgia because I knew he was headed that way. He said sorry I don't have room for you in the truck. I'm taking my records lol And I kid you not he left me.
Thankfully the hurricane missed the coast by 60 miles.
