I am asking this because I am taking my new wife to see her first July 4th, we will go to Philadelphia and see the fire works and every thing else that will be happening at the Art Museum mall, as I said this will be here first in person July 4th in the States, I've shown her some on youtube but it's not the same, so what will you be doing for July 4th?
We aren't doing anything special, maybe go out on our boat. In-laws are coming out to visit and my husband is taking off Th/Fr but we'll probably just grill out.
On Friday we are heading to the beach for the weekend.

Sounds awesome!! Hope you have fun
This will be a quiet 4th for us as I'm recovering from surgery.
One of these 4th's I want to go to Washington D.C. and enjoy the fireworks and music on the Mall!
Not much, probably. Most fireworks displays here have been called off because of fires/fire risk. I really hope people aren't stupid enough to set off their own.

Same here - too many around me are still without power too. It's been a crazy, scary weekend for weather. Even though we got our power back in 22 hours, it has continued to blink on and off with the weather
I will be donating blood at 0745 that day. Yes, I am LOTs of fun
