Would it be considered flirting if...

A sly, short, chubby girl (aka Karen) in a white Donald Duck print miniskirt and purple leggings crooned the name of a tall, lank, quriky nerd (aka Cornelius), attempting to draw him closer? She croons winsomely, in a playful tone, much like how someone would call their favourite dog over.

And then Karen runs away with her friend, who sarcastically says, "thanks a lot," when Cornelius runs towards them?

(And, BTW, Karen admires Cornelius for his writing skills and interesting views on politics.)

No, it sounds like two kids playing games with each other.

Is this supposed to be a real question or a feeble attempt at novel writing that failed?

You posted this on the Non-Relationships forum, too.

My answer is that it's not a "relationship" at all. You have described an isolated interaction. That interaction may be flirting or it may be outright mockery, but you haven't provided enough information for us to give you any insight.

However, a grown woman wearing a Donald Duck miniskirt and purple leggings needs the help of a professional fashion consultant, pronto.

Frankly, I think you have an overactive imagination.

Yes, it is flirting if all of you are in junior high school.

I like quackers with peanut butter and jelly.

Oh oh I like that song, " It's peanut butter and jelly time peanut butter and jelly time!"

First, the girl is about 15 years old, not grown. Second, this is a true story that my friend didn't mind sharing.
