Doctors- the knowledge they have, the professionalism, the bedside manner, & the way they look in their scrubs....yummy
Lawyers- I am drawn to educated, aggressive, & driven men. They are always fun, always sexy.
Entrepreneurs- once again, powerful, smart, driven & (usually) successful.
Actors, writers, etc. - I am drawn to their creativity, & I love the introverted types.
I guess that conversely I'm always put off by a guy who only works for a paycheck-There's no passion in that.
unfortunately the top 2 will probably have the highest divorce rates.. my uncle married a doctor only to feel lonely when she was never home to be with him or the kids.
If you are in one of those positions and you can't get laid, you are a loser plain and simple. Girls eat it up if you are in one of those positions.
Best answer... positions that are exceptionally social and visible like this draw women like flies, including young hotties. I think women have the idea that even if the relationship goes nowhere, they can still reap the benefits of the man's social connections. Plus, alcohol is in the environment.

thats great and good to see that you didnt not date a guy based on his job
In interest of full disclosure, one thing I would NOT do again, should I ever be back in the dating pool, is date another military member. You live, you learn. It's just not a lifestyle that appeals to me.
My SO's brother is a USMC officer, and his wife had the pleasure of going through most of her pregnancy alone in a foreign country when he was deployed to Afghanistan and she was left behind at their post in Asia, they had to fight with the military to get her back home to the U.S. to deliver her child, and they ended up getting no financial allowance to do so, and her husband was obviously not able to be present for the birth of their child. She entered into such a potential situation in choosing to marry a Marine, and she's very accepting of that just being how it is. They are fantastic people, no argument there. However, that is NOT a lifestyle with which I would be comfortable. The people who are up for it have my respect, but that's just not for me. I wasn't even comfortable dating somebody in between foreign deployments, let alone a deeper relationship.

The sole bouncer I dated was actually the biggest loser, as it turned out.

My SO's dad is an attorney, and has churned through three marriages and counting. I don't know that any of his exes would say that his substantial income made being married to him a pleasant experience.

I have no idea what the divorce rates are for the various professions. Being in a LTR with a doctor though would have a lot of challenges though....being on call etc. I'm not sure everyone knows what they are getting in to.
Reading some of the responses, got me to thinking of which professions I would never date,
no matter how alluring the guy is:
bouncers
bartenders
firemen
cops
military men
DJ's
personal trainers
I don't understand the "allure" of a bouncer, bartender or DJ that is for sure. Have never heard a woman swoon over a bouncer, that is for sure.
