This confused me. First, her sister is with a controlling guy who won't let her stay in contact, and then she is in contact too much for the wrong reasons.

If have issues with the OP's issues.

My wife is experiencing this phenomenon too. I feel, through oberservation, that grow we apart due living apart, long separation, work experience changes our mentality, and sibling rivalry affects too. Your thoughts and beliefs that you might have held back in your youth are now free to manifest. I just think its a given, that change will happen either negative or positive.

Default for me...

it was my older brother. I realized, after I had turned 22 y/o, that he was truly a very unlikeable person. Treated his friends and his family like low-lifes and just wasn't the type of person I cared to have in my life.
We haven't spoken for over 35 years and he's not anyone that I miss.
