Would you date a Hipster, of course if you are not part of this group?

Hipsters generally speaking are a little too young for me. I have some interests in common with your average hipster, but some of them go a little too far into the hipster category. So I guess the answer is, maybe if they weren't too hipster and my age. (I live in an area with loads of hipsters)

I'm not a HUGE fan of irony. Also, being a hipster requires effort, far more effort than its worth. I'm more into jeans-and-t-shirt guys rather than dudes who are putting a lot of energy into cultivating a look. They're fun to observe, but I probably wouldn't want to date one.

What pop media thinks a hipster is and what a real hipster is are two different things, only overlapping in certain areas.

I'm not ashamed to admite, my best friends all through college are hipsters. The guys wear colorful skinny jeans, funny t shirts, and ironic facial hair. The girls have thick black glasses, spandex outfits, and thrift store shoes. They listen to music I've never heard of, enjoy TKO dance parties, and enjoy a variety of obscure topics. Oh and they drink massive amounts of PBR.

And they are some of the nicest, most accepting people around. They don't shame you for not knowing a reference or not dressing like they do. They just want to have fun and generally enjoy making lots of new friends.

I've dated hipsters and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. As a stereotype, they're pretty fabulous.

Sure, if she was hot and non condescending. The coolest hipsters I've ever hung out with weren't in typical hipster attire. I find the whole culture silly though. They've become a conformist group in and of itself, and I'm sorry, but not every indie band in existence puts out great music.
