How common is this? 4 months ago, she broke up with her bf after an 8 year relationship (they met in college) and started meeting guys from online. Last night, I found out from her best friend that she's slept with at least 30 guys during that time period.
I realize chicks usually go through withdrawal after a breakup, but is this kind of withdrawal extremely abnormal or what? Anyone know someone else like this?
That works out to a new guy every 4 days. Are you sure the friend wasn't exaggerating?
I don't really judge about sexual exploits, but if this was a man or a woman I would be very concerned, if only because she's sleeping with guys she doesn't know and hasn't vetted at all.

What precipitated the breakup?
Didn't sound like she was and the girl in reference is a teacher so she's had the summer off so it's quite possible for her to meet up with guys multiple times per week. She said her friend is on multiple dating sites looking for a relationship, but she just ends up having sex.
How many posts and OP's have we had complaining about women being too tight with their favors, asking why they can't give it up more easily, and complaining that women "control access to sex"? For those of you who fall into that category of poster, Gentlemen: this (OP's description) is what your dream woman looks like. Deal.
Sounds like her self esteem is in the dumps. She shouldn't be looking for a date after coming out of an 8 year relationship, she should be concentrating on herself and taking a break from dating. Some women get used to the attention they get in a relationship, so when it ends they still seek that attention from a man. Unfortunately, some will accept any attention, even the wrong kind such as being used for sex.
You might want to have a long talk to her as to why she is doing this. It seems she could be acting out or desperate for any male attention.

Sadly, some men view women in one of two categories:
1) Too loose
2) Too prude
Seems like there can be no in-betweens. Ladies, sometimes you can't win, so just be true to yourself and you will never lose.
