I'm not a big coffee drinker, or connoisseur so to speak. I have in the past, popped into Starbucks looking to get a wifi connection so I can take care of some bizness, I'll order a decaffeinated coffee and a lot of the times they say that they are out of decaf, but they suggest making an "Americano" Well, I looked it up on their site and the only thing that says Americano show having caffeine.
Am I missing something here, why would they suggest it as an alternative, and I've been in a few different ones and they've all said Americano when asking for a decaf coffee.

What is the deal, as Jerry would say.

Americano coffee is a generic term for diluted espresso by using added hot water.

However, they make a good fat free chai latte!
LOL, well, like I said, it's mostly just to grab a quick internet connection. I think they might frown on people walking in using their wifi and not buying anything.....

I love starbucks Chai! I have tried other brands, gone and bought some chai from stores, and I can't duplicate the taste. Nothing else matches that flavor.
In a weird bit of coincidence we put Jaws, the old school shark movie from the 70's, in the Netflix que a while back, we get it the mail today and there some report either yesterday or today about a swimmer getting killed here off the coast of Santa Barbara...
I cant believe you guys! Say no to the giant faceless evil corporation and get your coffee at a local place.
@ chow Now if you had said you were a heroin addict or something like that I would have been ok with it but don't like coffee? Thats a very serious character flaw. I'm not sure I can talk to you any more...

Kinda eerie.. at least in terms of timing....
I caught that, they said another surfer was killed a couple years ago by a Great White, same area opposite the Air Force base...
