If I had to pick a game out of all the others I would much rather watch hockey.

I am so happy it is back. I missed my Avalanche. Best sport to watch in person in my opinion.

Anyway, just finished working for 28 hours straight (whew!), and I can finally go to bed now. Good night!
It is baseball, football and then hockey for me. My wife can't understand I how I can just sit and watch any baseball no matter who is playing.

So a deal was finally made so hockey could be played again?

Damn it's about time. I'm not a fan of hockey but there are fans of hockey who have been waiting for this moment for a long time.

I'm not a big fan of Hockey, but if it's on and it's not boring me I'll watch it. until I get bored of it and change the channel lol.

So far from what I have read they are going to try to squeeze in 48 games. I am hoping to get some tickets in the corporate suite at the Pepsi Center. Too bad they had to cancel the Winter Classic.

There's a team that plays in Tampa, so when I lived in the area, I tried to get some friends to go, since we were offered free tickets, they looked at me as if I had horns growing out of my head. Gee wiz. Seems like it would have been a great time to me. I've only been able to see armature events, but did enjoy them.

Too bad you didn't go. The sport is great and very under appreciated. Hockey players tend be a lot more humble than other players in the other three big professional leagues. I love how after a playoff series ends they all line up to shake hands.

I haven't had any personal experience with other professional athletes but hockey players are pretty down to earth (at least in these parts). Their kids played in the same league (and sometimes on the same team) as my kids and for the most part, they are like all the other dads at the rink.

I had season tickets for hockey in Florida, way much fun. And cheap too.

Dating is like an endless job interview. It is supposed to be "fun", but I can easily see why people just settle for the person in front of them.

Was it for an NHL team? I don't know that I'd describe season tickets as "cheap". They are pretty expensive here, at least if you want decent seats.
